She rang the doorbell and as she was trying to catch her breath the door swung open and she smiled and said, “Hi! I’m here for my interview.”
The interview went very well and she started her employment with 3Points, LLC on July 30, 2007…the day she met him. He was working in the office that day and there was a brief introduction. They exchanged simple pleasantries during the next couple of weeks and did not have any interest with each other. It was not until Thursday, August 16th at a company outing that it all changed. Third Thirsty Thursday is an event where the 3Points employees gather after work for food and fun. It was this day that Robin & Russell became intrigued with each other. They talked the night away. They learned about each other, told stories and had a great time doing it. They were opponents in bags and spent more time laughing hysterically than concentrating on the game. They were the last ones in the group to leave since they were too wrapped up in conversation. The following day they talked briefly at work and agreed they needed to get together again. Monday they met for lunch and then also met for dinner after work. As the evening was ending, he gave her a hug and a very subtle kiss. The next day they went out to lunch again and Robin asked Russell, “Are we going to try this dating thing?” Russ replied with a simple nod and the rest as they say is history.
